Our Mission

We seek to help people grow in their love for God, one another, and the world.

Love God

We consider the love of God on display in creation, in the Scriptures, and in his Son, Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh. We ask the Holy Spirit to enable us to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Love One Another

We seek to love members of our households and the body of Christ by proclaiming the gospel and through acts of service. We are called to love one another in word and deed.

Love the World

We seek to extend the love of Jesus Christ to our neighbors with whom we live, work and play, to people across North America, and to the peoples of all nations, tribes, and tongues.

Weekly Activities

Sunday mornings

Our worship services take place in our Sanctuary, which is on the third floor of our building. Our Sanctuary can be directly accessed from the Montevallo Road side of the church, or from the Overbrook Road side of the church (enter and take the stairs or elevator to the third floor).

  • 9 a.m. Traditional Service
  • 10 a.m. Sunday School
  • 11 a.m. Contemporary Service

We offer Worship Care (infant-2K) and Preschool Worship (3K-5K) for children in both services. For Worship Care, children 2K and under are dropped off on the second floor in our Children's Ministry area prior to worship. For Preschool Worship (3K-5K), children leave with our Minister to Children following the Children's Sermon.

Wednesday nights

On Wednesday nights during the school year at MBBC, we gather together for fellowship and dinner. We offer activities for kids on Wednesday nights and Growth Groups for adults. Student Bible studies also meet throughout the week.

  • 5-6 p.m. Dinner in Moebes Hall
  • 6-7 p.m. Missions & Music for Preschool/School Age Kids
  • 6 p.m. Adult Growth Groups
  • 6 p.m. Sr. High Midweek Bible Studies

New here? Let us show you around!

We're glad you're here. We know visiting a church for the first time can feel intimidating, so let us help you!
